Mortal Engines: Shrike by Tysho Mortal Engines: Shrike by Tysho
A character from a book I'm reading called Mortal Engines. Shrike here isn't a goody... but you may have guessed that already- I'm only a third through the book so maybe he can change...

Maybe...

This is exactly how I always pictured him, nice job(: I read the books a couple of years ago and they've had such a massive impact on everything i've written since then, pretty much just converted me to the whole Steampunk idea. Seriously, totally awesome work though(:

Thanks, man. And yeah I did. It was an easy read, but was full of imagination. And it has cities on giant caterpillar tracks. And that's awesome.

If you read fever crumb, you would've known that shrike was one of the good guys. Before he became a bot. He used to be a great friend of fever crumb, and he's actually a stalkerbot. Almost weird how he became evil O.o

Nope, never read that. I'd never heard of Mortal Engines either up until I did this project! Enjoyed it though.

Thanks mate- a friend of mine managed to get a signed copy of Mortal Engines worth nearly 50 for about 7 (the swine). At the back of the book are all the illustrations that the author doodled whilst coming up with the story and my Shrike looks ridiculously evil compared to his. Disturbed imagination, I guess :D

Looking good! Very Imperium Tech-ish. Although I'm not a big fan of the hands, they seem to differ to much from the rest of the mechanical bits :/

I agree with you to be honest... It was 4:30 in the morning when I finished him so hink it skewed my judgement a bit :)

I'll give them another whirl when I get chance.

Goodie :) Were you thinking something all metallic, or maybe a pair of gloves? You know, all black leather villain gloves ^^ I think both'd fit him quite nicely :)

Doesn't state in the book he wears gloves... but it doesn't state that he doesn't either... but he does have claws- and I think they're retractable- so that could be pretty cool.
